Awesome Alpharetta Highlighted In Hospitality Highway Brochure

Published Jun 14, 2007

Through a partnership between communities lining the Georgia 400 corridor, a new brochure geared towards promoting outdoor activities along Georgia 400’s Hospitality Highway was recently produced. Hospitality Highway, which runs the length of Georgia 400 from exit 4 to the end of the highway, is a promotion to encourage visitors to venture off exits and explore accommodations, restaurants, parks, shops and the many more attractions that make each area along the Georgia 400 route unique. The new brochure, entitled “Where Mother Nature is at Home,” expands the promotion to include information about outdoor events and activities such as festivals, parks, environmental learning centers and historic sites along the route.

Additionally, events like the Alpharetta Marathon and Half Marathon, Touch-a-Truck, Mayor’s Challenge Road Race and Scarecrow Harvest also receive mention.

“With an exciting twist on the Hospitality Highway concept, this new brochure adds elements of interest and activity to an already great promotion—encouraging tourists to venture off GA 400 to explore Alpharetta’s outdoor amenities,” said Janet Rodgers, President and CEO of the Alpharetta CVB.
