Published Sep 16, 2008

Despite four touchdowns from junior FeDale Hall, the Mount Pisgah Christian School football team dropped its Region 5-A opener on Friday night with a 43-32 loss to Fellowship Christian. Pisgah now stands at 2-1 on the season.

Hall led the Patriots with 131 yards rushing on 16 carries; including touchdown runs of 22, nine and six yards. He also caught a 33 yard pass from quarterback Kyle Sloter for another touchdown.

Sloter, a freshman, finished the night 16-of-28 for 259 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore Danny Schneider had nine catches for 172 yards and one score.

Behind Halls four touchdowns, the Patriots held a 26-14 lead over Fellowship at the half. Fellowship posted the only score of the third quarter to cut into Pisgah’s lead. The Paladins scored three times in the fourth quarter to put the game away. The Patriots scored again late in the fourth quarter on an eight yard pass from Sloter to Schneider.

Pisgah hosts Whitefield Academy on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 7:30 at the Old Milton High School.
