Golfers are practicing their swings for the 15th Annual Fulton Education Foundation’s “Fore” Kids Golf Classic. The fund raiser is April 28 at The Manor Golf and Country Club in Alpharetta.
Through the support of sponsors and participants, last year’s event enabled the Fulton Education Foundation to fund an ongoing Technology Forum for teachers and administrators, and to begin research on creating the “school of the future.” This year’s organizers hope to generate even more funds for the children of Fulton County schools. Longtime sponsors such as Dell, Northside Hospital and ALC Controls will help to make this possible, along with new sponsors Intel and ATC Associates.
Golfers still have time to register. Fees for a corporate team run $1,200 or $300 per individual player. For more information, contact the Fulton Education Foundation office at 404-763-6894.
The Fulton Education Foundation, a non-profit organization formed in 1986, enjoys a strong partnership with the Fulton County School System. The Foundation’s Board of Directors include business and community volunteers who are committed to developing new resources, building collaborative relationships, and strengthening the link between business, community and schools.
