Webb Bridge Bulldogs Win Battle at the Bridge

Alpharetta, GA…The City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department is proud to announce that the Webb Bridge Bulldogs 13U travel baseball team won the spring Battle at the Bridge Tournament held at Webb Bridge Park March 2-5, 2006. The Bulldogs, manage by Jim Poole, competed against talented teams from Alpharetta, Cumming, Buford, and Norcross, and were victorious in the championship game, 8-7.

 

“I am so thrilled for the Bulldogs for their significant accomplishment by outscoring so many other talented teams and becoming the Battle at the Bridge Champions,” comments Mayor Pro tem Jim Paine. “We are very proud of the Bulldog’s success and congratulate the players and coaches who have worked hard preparing for this season. It is especially meaningful that these young men won the championship at their home ball park,” states Mike Perry, Director of Recreation and Parks.
