Jordan Lyerly, local high school pitcher for Fellowship Christian School, stated “the grand opening of A Step Ahead Physical Therapy was memorable for me as a patient and as an athlete. Getting to hear Mike Gonzalez of the Atlanta Braves speak about prevention of baseball injuries was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. Having just gone through shoulder surgery from a football related injury, I am faced now with months of rehab in preparing for my senior year of high school baseball. With the necessary assistance of “A Step Ahead” and Brad Freemyer, I know that the future still looks bright for me as a high school athlete.”

John Schad, DC had the following to say: “I truly enjoyed the seminar and event you just had on Saturday. It was really informative and not only from a doctor’s perspective but from a youth league travel coach. It was great to have both Mike Gonzalez and Lloyd van Pamelen speak on preventing injuries in youth baseball. I will be applying this knowledge not only in my practice but on the field this fall. I can’t thank you enough for all the information you so diligently put together.”

Mike and Lloyd concluded the seminar by answering questions, handing out various items including t-shirts, baseballs etc and signing autographs.
