On September 9, all customers who shop at Harry’s Farmers Market will be benefiting Roswell’s environment. Harry’s Farmers Market has chosen Keep Roswell Beautiful as the recipient of their quarterly “5 Percent Day.” Five percent of all sales on September 9 will go to Keep Roswell Beautiful.

Funding from the 5 percent Day will benefit the Keep Roswell Beautiful 20th Anniversary Celebration and Environmental Film Festival in April 2009.

Keep Roswell Beautiful, a 501(c)3 organization, is dedicated to improving the environment in Roswell by engaging individuals, families and businesses in the improvement and beautification of Roswell. Part of the Keep America Beautiful family, Keep Roswell Beautiful will be celebrating 20 years of service in 2009.

Keep Roswell Beautiful has a strong board of directors that include representatives from all walks of life in Roswell. Projects include: Great American Cleanup, Rivers Alive, Bring One for the Chipper, America Recycles Day and the Earth Balloon.
