Want to go green but having trouble getting started? Want to be rewarded for your efforts to go green? This week, Keep Roswell Beautiful (KRB) launched the Green Challenge. Individuals and families in the City of Roswell are invited to take the challenge and see how green they already are and where they can improve.
Examples of green tasks in the challenge include:
Participants will be eligible for monthly prize drawings in October, November and December and will qualify for the grand prize drawing in January. The challenge deadline is January 5, 2009.
Southern Sprinkler Systems, LLC and the Georgia Irrigation Association have donated a wireless rain sensor for an irrigation system, KRB will have MARTA Breeze passes available and KRB Board Chairman, Frank Hasty, has donated two passes to the Georgia Aquarium.
This challenge will be measured under the honor system, so participants are asked to please adhere to the spirit of the challenge.
