The Festival of the Nativity is a highlight of the Christmas season for our Church and community. . Celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. See how people from dozens of countries celebrate this season by experiencing beautifully handcrafted Crèches. Watch and listen to beautiful music performed nightly during the celebration.
The Highlight of Saturday evening, will be a performance by Jenny Oakes Baker.
Jenny Oaks Baker is one of America's most accomplished classical violinists.
Ms. Baker began playing the violin at age four, and made her solo debut in 1983 when she was only eight years old. Since then, she has thrilled audiences throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States with performances equally powerful in emotion and mastery.
A past guest soloist with the Jerusalem Symphony, the San Diego Symphony, the Utah Symphony, the Orchestra at Temple Square, and the internationally acclaimed Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Ms. Baker has been featured in television and radio broadcasts nationwide.
Ms. Baker's albums have sold more than 150,000 copies, charted on Billboard, and garnered multiple Pearl Awards from the Faith Centered Music Association including Song, Album, and Artist of the Year.
For seven years Ms. Baker performed as a first violinist in the National Symphony Orchestra before resigning in 2007 to devote more time to her young family. She received her Master of Music degree from the renowned Juilliard School in New York City and earned her bachelor's degree in violin performance from the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Ms. Baker, her husband, and their four children reside outside of Washington D.C.
Live musical performances will be enjoyed in the Chapel each evening.
Friday December 5th will highlight Soloists, Brass to Go, Chords of Faith, and A Trio – Gavin, Miskin and Hughes
Saturday December 6th will highlight Ms. Baker, Chords of Faith, vocal and instrumental soloists
Sunday December 7th will highlight a Celtic Trio, Krogh Family Singers, Ashley Harris -singer-songwriter, Northview High School Chamber Choir, Chords of Faith
At 8 p.m.browse the nativities to the accompaniment of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's live performance via satellite broadcast.

This open-house event will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 5995 Spalding Drive, Norcross.

Admission is free. Families are welcome.
