The first will take place on Tuesday, October 23rd in the Chamblee/Doraville area at the Chamblee Civic Center, 3540 Broad Street. The second open house will be held on Thursday, October 25th in the Sandy Springs area at Riverwood High School, 5900 Heards Drive. Each will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

revive285 top end is developing a comprehensive long-range transportation solution for the entire northern I-285 corridor between I-75 and I-85. The project will complete an environmental evaluation and the necessary documentation required to advance solutions through final design and construction.
This round of open houses is the third in a series since the project began in 2006. During the first two rounds, input was gathered from the public on the project’s need and purpose as well as strategies for consideration along the corridor. At this meeting, the public will have the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions regarding the results of strategies screening process and alternatives recommended for further study.
“The project is advancing as scheduled, thanks in part to continued involvement from residents and businesses along the corridor as well as those who rely on it every day,” said Darryl VanMeter, Georgia DOT Assistant State Urban Design Engineer. “Ensuring that the public is involved in the process is vital, and we’re pleased that so many have elected to do so thus far. We hope that continues.”
The revive285 top end project maintains a detailed website that includes a calendar of events, contact information for providing comments and requesting speakers, a message board related to the project corridor and detailed information on project status and history. The site is located at www.revive285.com.
