The Public Works Departments of Alpharetta and Roswell, along with the Cities of Milton and Johns Creek, invite residents in these North Fulton cities to a Bulky Trash Amnesty Day on Saturday, April 26, from 8:00AM to 2:00PM.
The Public Works Departments of Alpharetta and Roswell, along with the Cities of Milton and Johns Creek, invite residents in these North Fulton cities to a Bulky Trash Amnesty Day on Saturday, April 26, from 8:00AM to 2:00PM. Items can be brought to: City of Roswell Public Works Division, 1810 Hembree Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004.
Some of the items that will be accepted are:
• washers and dryers,
• Sofas, tables and chairs,
• refrigerators,
• tires (automobile tires only; must be off the rim; a limit of 4 per car),
• televisions, and
• deactivated cell phones.
The following items will not be accepted:
• paint,
• household hazardous waste,
• any fluids, including motor oil and antifreeze,
• household batteries,
• construction and demolition materials, and
• yard waste or debris.
Please note that many items are accepted at the recycle centers daily. We encourage you to recycle white goods and other recyclable items at these locations. There may be a charge for specific items so call first. For proper disposal of those items that will not be accepted for the Bulky Trash Day amnesty collection, or to recycle, please contact the following:

Materials will only be accepted on the designated day of the event and only during the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00PM only. Expect delays and plan to arrive well before 2:00PM. Please be advised that traffic patterns on Hembree Road may be altered during this time.
