For the second year in a row, the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) placed in the Top 10 Best Places to Work, an annual contest conducted by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Results of the contest were announced during an awards ceremony held in the Oceans Ballroom at the Georgia Aquarium. Approximately 300 companies were nominated overall—in small, medium and large business categories. The Alpharetta CVB placed as the sixth Best Place to Work in Atlanta out of 110 companies in the Small Business category. Companies were selected through an analysis by Quantum Research which looked at survey results across ten themes such as team effectiveness, people practices and satisfaction with current role.
“It is truly an honor to win this very special award because it represents the organizations greatest asset—the people who work there,” said Janet Rodgers, President and CEO of the Alpharetta CVB.
