The BB&T Windward Parkway Financial Center has recently been designated, by BB&T Corporation headquarters, as the #1 de novo branch of the North Atlanta region for highest deposit growth. To thank the community for helping the branch succeed and grow, the management and staff of the branch are throwing a “Feed Your Financial Appetite” event on Friday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the bank’s location at 5520 Windward Parkway, Alpharetta, Georgia 30004. The celebration will be in the main parking lot, which is visible from Windward Parkway, as well as inside the bank. Rain date will be Monday, May 19. This announcement was made today by Stephen Doggett, the branch’s financial center manager.

Open to everyone in the community, there will be lots of food to devour, including—hamburgers, hot dogs, cookies and other food items provided by local businesses. There will also be chances to win free prizes and free $50 gas gift certificates. “We enjoy giving back to the community and celebrating success,” stated Doggett, who has managed the branch for more than two years. “We wouldn’t be where we are today, in such a short period of time, if it weren’t for the great customers that have passed through our doorway.”
