Introducing HENRIETTA. The indie-rock power-pop band plays this Monday, September 10th at 8:00 p.m., in East Atlanta, at The Earl. 'A lot is going on in Georgia', the lyric says.

The 4-piece combo, of locals and longtime friends, do it again. Yes, these forward-looking artists/musicians will perform original material from their studio-length Stud Muffin Demo, recorded in 2007.

After inaugural shows at Cool Beanz, Masquerade, Sidelines, and their latest at the 10-High Club, these comical-gentleman dudes are setting the stage for another musical success.

These super-colliding hipsters consist of: "Dee Lloyd", "Darzel" Messenger, "Bugsy" Parker, and Erick "Ka$hmere". Mixing humor, style, and offbeat sentimentality, HENRIETTA is as funny, energetic, and weird—as cool.

HENRIETTA remains to be seen as much as heard. Evocative and provocative, the HENRIETTA'S prove their mettle, each night, rhapsodizing "Moons & Stars", "Tiki Torch Glow", "Willis Fontillis", and then "Angels in the ATL". Alongside the group's movin' and groovin' rhythms, scintillating virtuosity, and poetic songs, one witnesses frontman Darzel Messenger move like both 'The King' and 'The God Father of Soul'…A sight to behold!

As Dee Lloyd and Ka$hmere agree, "We like to think we're more than 4 guys, trying to eat." And poignantly, Bugsy Parker adds, "We're not the only living voice of Generation X; we're actually Atlanta's only alternative to Alternative..."

Stay tuned, stay in touch. For soon HENRIETTA plans to shake this scene from its non-Hip Hop slumber. It all begins, at The Earl, next Friday…Because HENRIETTA isn't simply a state of sound, 'It's a Great Place to Live'.

Make sure to listen and enjoy the music from this authentic, highly-original band. More information and audio is available  HERE   or  www.myspace.com/henriettarocks AND on www.hometownbandstand.com
